Whether you're a keys local or a free soul looking to grow your roots on this beautiful island, you’ve found the right place.

Our studio is located at the perry hotel in the heart of stock island, a literal “safe harbor” for ships and people alike. Salty Roots embodies both the laid back and the luxe atmosphere that lingers in the keys.

Salty Roots was first conceived in the Summer of 2020 by seasoned stylist, Tori Shank. Tori, a Michigan native who relocated to The Keys in 2018, felt the worldly shifts of “quarantine time” and had an urge to offer something different to the community that she now called home.

“Living in such a magical place brought a lot of gratitude and humbleness. I was inspired to provide a fresh new style to the beauty industry in the keys.”

Salty Roots is more than “pretty hair”. It’s about getting rooted in this stunning, sometimes humbling, island life. What drives you to live or visit the keys? This magical, unique place in the middle of the ocean?
